Research is an integral part of Brooke’s work, contributing to a robust evidence base through identifying and resolving research questions that address the most important issues faced by the animals and their owners every day. Brooke research results in more effective programming for working equids and communities, including evidencing advocacy and policy asks. Brooke research is multidisciplinary, encompassing epidemiology, social science, economics and animal welfare.

This exciting position will play a key role in ensuring that employees throughout the international offices are able to access support for research projects, as well as for providing strategic oversight for organisational research. It sits within a passionate, dedicated and intelligent international team.

In order to excel in this post you will need a higher degree in animal health /welfare, strong quantitative and qualitative research skills and experience in managing and supporting applied research projects, preferably overseas. You will be a team player with an emphasis on collaboration and be passionate about facilitating others’ to succeed.
