Philanthropy and Partnerships Advisor (New Business) Maternity Cover

This is an exciting time to be joining Brooke, as we embark on a new Global strategy.  You’ll be taking up a key role in our Philanthropy & Partnerships team, helping Brooke find new prospects and stewarding a (currently) small portfolio of HNWIs. We are looking for someone with solid relationship management experience, who can keep their pool of supporters engaged with our work and to help secure future donations. You don’t need to have an equestrian background but any knowledge of that world would certainly be useful. We are a friendly and supportive team, wanting to establish more relationships with new audiences. If you have an interest in helping to secure a better future for the working horses, donkeys and mules of this world, and the people who depend on them, then we’d love to hear from you!

You will need to have proven experience of building and managing successful relationships with supporters.  You will manage a small portfolio of HNWIs with a view to finding new prospects for the Major and High Value teams. In order to excel in this post you will need experience of managing events, working to deadlines and working to budgets. You will possess excellent communication skills, both spoken and written. If COVID allows, you will need to do some UK travel to both third-party events and to meet donors. We need someone who is resilient and determined, who understands the pace of Philanthropy.
