Brooke’s International Programmes Department is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and dedicated person to cover the maternity leave of the current Programme Officer.

Helping to deliver high quality and timely programmes across nine countries you will provide coordination, facilitation and implementation of processes to support effective delivery of high quality programmes in three affiliates and two branches. You will be responsible for completing the process of closing programme work in Jordan and coordinate the external evaluation. Alongside the Programme Officer (Partnerships) you will provide matrix management of the IPD Administrator.

You will need to have excellent coordination and facilitation skills, be prepared to take initiative and work to a tight time-table. You will be good at building cross department relationships and supporting overseas staff remotely over skype.

Purpose and areas of responsibilities of this role:

The Programme Officer (Brooke Affiliates and Branches), as a member of the IPD, supports the implementation of the new Brooke Five Year Strategy. Over the coming year Jan 2017-Dec 2017, this role is needed to provide essential coordination, facilitation and implementation support to a busy team in three key areas.
