The Major Relationships Account Manager is responsible for building profitable, long-term fundraising relationships with HNWIs and grant-making Trusts and Foundations to generate income in line with the Brooke’s annual targets and Five Year Fundraising Strategy.

The Account Manager works collaboratively within the Major Relationships Team to identify new prospects and manage a significant portfolio of major value relationships through cultivation and stewardship activities and the ongoing account management of the portfolio.

The Major Relationships team is a successful and growing part of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate and the Major Relationships Account Manager is a key member of the team.

We are looking for someone with a successful track record of generating income from a diverse portfolio of HNWI’s, Trusts and Foundations in the UK. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of successful account management involving face to face meetings, proposal and report writing, overseas donor visits and events networking. The ability to build trust and rapport with a variety of stakeholders is essential.

The role requires exemplary communication and relationship management skills with the ability to influence decision making relating to grants and philanthropy both internally and externally and to support the programme of donor and prospect cultivation.
